Originated in Fujian, China and Hunan, the Tarry Lapsang Souchong is the classic amongst Chinese black teas. It is a full bodied tea which has been smoked to give it real depth of taste.

Tasting Notes

The smokey flavour of Tarry Lapsang Souchong comes from drying the tea leaves over burning resin rich pinewood. The tea is not just lovely to drink, it is also good to use when making smoked chicken and fish dishes.
